Cuzco:  We were in and out of Cuzco for over three weeks.  Can't think of a prettier city for an extended stay.  With ancient ruins and colonial buildings we felt like we were in a postcard most of the time.

Machu Picchu:  We'd seen pictures before... but we were still impressed with the extent of this amazing ruin site.  In addition, we were blown away by the surrounding landscapes.

Orchids:  Turns out Machu Picchu, and especially the small town at the base of Machu Picchu, is located in a great environment for growing orchids.  We never expected this!

Sacred Valley:  The agricultural area surrounding Cuzco is known as the Sacred Valley.  It is filled with incredible landscapes, amazing Inca ruins and colorful markets.
